On February 13, 2002, Ascot Technologies, Inc. CEO Mary Ellen Randall addressed the Triangle Business and Professional Women in Durham, NC, on the topic of "Where Have All The Women Gone?" Ms. Randall discussed the occupations of working women around 1900, as well as what fields women are choosing today. She also challenged participants to encourage more young women and girls into high growth fields, such as science and technology. Also discussed were the positive trends which will benefit women in the workplace in the future.
