ASCOT HOME MEDICAL MONITORING SYSTEM IN USE

Cary, NC – Ascot Technologies, Inc., an award winning software and systems integration company, announced that it has deployed its Home Medical Monitoring System (HMMS) in Diabetic Care Associates in Binghamton, NY.

The HMMS is automation of the existing process of reporting readings to the physician over the phone and receiving back verbal instructions for dosage changes.

According to Dr. Ramanujan at Diabetic Care Associates, " HMMS helps us improve a patient's care plan through accurate, ongoing reporting and monitoring of patient readings. It enhances patient-physician communication through its transmission of physician ordered medication changes directly back to the patient at home."

The HMMS is a software based device which receives readings in the home or clinical setting from various FDA approved devices (such as a home Blood Pressure monitor with pulse, or glucose testing monitor) and transmits to a server for review by Physician. If the Physician modifies medication dosages, the patient medication dosage instructions ordered by the Physician, are transmitted back to the patient and displayed on the HMS. Receipt of each transmission is confirmed within the system.
